• Fixed a bug that would cause SpeedSearch to crash when loading a results file. This would only occur if the number of files represented in the results area was greater than 512 and either SpeedSearch was starting up when loading the file or the number of search results currently displayed was less than the number of results in the file.
• Fixed a bug with saved search results files in which not all of the line information was being saved. When loading a search results file and then opening the file in CodeWarrior, the insertion point was not positioned at the line corresponding to the selected line in the search results.
• Fixed the positioning of the radio buttons in the Save Results dialog so that they no longer overlap.
• Added a "NOT Matching" checkbox to the main search window. When checked, the search results display file names that do not contain matches of the search string.
• Added a window that displays information about a file in the results area. Clicking on the arrow that points to the selected line pops up this window.
• When a file is opened into BBEdit or CodeWarrior, the insertion point is placed at the line corresponding to the line in the search results. Version 1.0 only supported this with CodeWarrior.
• When opening a selected file in the search results, a running application with the same creator code as the one the file is to be opened in is looked for first. If an application is found, the file is opened in the running application. Otherwise, the file is opened in either the application selected in the Preferences (if one is selected) or in the file's creator application (if one is not selected in the Preferences).
• When opening the enclosing folder of the file selected in the search results, the file is now selected in the Finder.
• When launching SpeedSearch, the "Search for:" field is set to the last search string used.
• Added radio buttons to the Find dialog that allow you to specify whether to find text in the file names, matches, or both.
• The current start folder is now saved when quitting SpeedSearch and used as the current folder the next time SpeedSearch is launched.
• Made an improvement to the speed in which Preferences dialog opens. The Font menu in this dialog was previously built each time the dialog was opened, but it is now built one time only when SpeedSearch starts up.
• Added some new Tips and updated others.
• Printing is much improved.
• Decreased the minimum font size from 9-point to 6-point. Smaller font sizes (e.g., 6-point Courier) are useful for printing on a high resolution printer.
